80 degrees with some Canadian smoke on the Woodlands. Very little movement in the standings. Most teams splitting or tying.
Just another dull Thursday!
NICK KAUSCH SR. led the way with his 3-under 33, good for the low scratch score of the night and the lowest round of the year so far.
Three different guys carded a net-30 for the low net score of the night: NICK KAUSCH SR. (33), JIM ROESCH (38), and SHAWN GAWRYS (38). All contributing to the 44.7 stroke average after 2 weeks in a row above 45.
CHRIS COLLINS and NICK KAUSCH SR. brought in the closest to prizes on the night and there was no action on the milestone watch.
After all that splitting & tying mentioned earlier, there were literally only two teams to move in the standings. LONGO BIGGS INJURY LAW swapped spots with C.E.S. and is now 6 points out of the top spot.
So the match up of the week for Week 8 will be…yep, you guessed it…TC & CO. (first place) vs. SOUTHSIDE MACHINE (second place) with just 2 points between them as we near the Position Round.
THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE UGLY:
THE GOOD: Appears to be just a 7 horse race
THE BAD: The beer cart service
THE UGLY: How many teams needed subs on Week 7
“4 more weeks ’til Position Round!”
