70 degrees – nothin’ like Tuesday – “no windbreakers today”…but play was on the Prairie again so scores were elevated a bit (45.4 stroke average).
But SOUTHSIDE MACHINE was able to extend their lead to 7 points over TC & CO. in second place. Helping the gear-heads’ case was JIM JOST JR‘s brush up with that ever-elusive hole in one on #8.
That got Jim one of the closest to prizes; the other one was claimed by MEL STORTZUM. No one won a skin on the night so the carryover to next week will be $250!
It was great to see some Cooters back at it from their stint on the IR list – welcome back RON SCHMITT & JOE TUREK!
BRETT MINIEX (37) had the low scratch score of the night and BRIAN TUREK (47/27) had the low net score.
THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE UGLY:
THE GOOD: To be back on regular schedule
THE BAD: No skins on the night
THE UGLY: The fines continuing to add up for LONGO BIGGS INJURY LAW*

The feature match of the week for Week 6 is SOUTHSIDE MACHINE (first place) against C.E.S. (third place) with 9.5 points between them!
“So long Prairie!”
