First Half Champs: Southside Machine – Week 11 Recap

It was one of the warmer, more humid nights for the 2023 season. On top of that, Week 11’s Position Round took place on the dreaded Woodlands. So, it’s no surprise that scores were a little elevated on the night.

But, nonetheless, the First Half is over and SOUTHSIDE MACHINE ended on top with a convincing win over K.G. ELECTRIC, INC. They now can just hang out and see who the challenger will be for the “Cup”!

CONGRATULATIONS SOUTHSIDE MACHINE!

The scores worth noting on the night included JEFF LAURY‘s low scratch score (37) and RON SUDA (41/30) and MIKE HUNTENLOCKER‘s (42/30) low net scores. JOHN COOPER and JOHN COCHRAN got the closest to prizes on the position round play.

PAUL HILLYARD had a big night as he became just the 9th player in Coot history to get to 200 career wins!

CONGRATULATIONS PAUL!

JOHN GREFFET and MATT JOST also got a bit closer to their respective milestones.

THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE UGLY:
THE GOOD: To see K.O. @ the course today
THE BAD: None to report
THE UGLY: How many Cooters hit from the “drop zone” on #3

“We were lil’ angels today!
