Fast Start To Second Half – Week 12 Recap

It was a bit humid with 88-degree temps on the Meramec for Week 12 play. The Second Half is now off and running and a couple teams got a quick start off the blocks.

K.G. ELECTRIC, INC. took all 10 points from THE TUREK BROTHERS to jump out in the lead. Right behind them after the first week of scoring on the new half is none other than the First Half Champs, SOUTHSIDE MACHINE, who took 9 points from AALCO MFG.

That sets up for a battle in next week’s Match of the Week when Team #6 faces Team #8, already!

Scoring overall was solid with a league stroke average (43.6) below the season average (44.9). There were 11 sub-40 rounds and another 8 rounds @ 40.

MIKE O’KANE shot a 35, good for the low scratch score of the night. CHRIS TOCKSTEIN had the low net score of the night with his 45, net-26. Chris also had one of the closest to the pin prizes, NICK KAUSCH JR. the other.

THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE UGLY:
THE GOOD: Skin carryover – $260+
THE BAD: As in sad – JIMMY “ROACH CLIP” heading back to Montana for the rest of the year
THE UGLY: THERE WILL BE NO MORE EXTRA GOLFING AFTER YOUR LEAGUE PLAY ROUND – THIS STARTS ON JUNE 29TH AND LASTS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
