Those match ups are a result of the virtually NO movement in the standings after Week 10 (only GILLICK BRICKWORK and PAUL THE PAINTER moved, trading their spots in seventh & eighth place). The result: the top 3 teams have a chance to win the First Half Championship. FYI: tiebreakers for Position Round play: #6 over #8 & #2; #8 over #2.
Other storylines on the night:
- JASON GILLICK shot a 37 and still got the loss (and is now in the running for the “Sey Tuff Guy”)
- Oh yea!…the loss was from his dad, RAY, who shot a 41
- DAVE HARTE carded a 38 & lost to DOUG WERNER (41)
- There was an eagle-3 on #7 by ADAM LAURY
It was the second-lowest league stroke average of the year at 43.4. Leading the charge was DAVE SCHWEITZER with a 35, good for low scratch score. The low net score was the aforementioned 41 shot by DOUG WERNER (net-36). RAY GILLICK JR.‘s win over his son earned him a spot on the Milestone Watch.
JIM ROESCH got another closest to; KEVIN TYLER had the other.
