Yes, It Was 103 – Week 17 Recap

It was a hot night on the Prairie – 103 degrees with 90% humidity and basically no breeze. But…what a night it was!

GILLICK BRICKWORK got 8 points to put them just 1 point out of first place (yes, all the way from fifth place). All other teams split, putting us in the tightest run for the second half title ever!

Top 7 teams are within 2 points of first place
Top 9 teams are within 5 points of first place
Top 12 teams are within 10 points of first place

The low net score on the night was GARY SCHMIDT‘s 28 (43) and MATT TUREK JR. shot a 38, good for the low scratch score. There were only 4 sub-40 rounds on the night, leading to a 45.5 league stroke average, one of the highest of the season.

SCOTT HETZER and KEVIN TYLER took home the closest to the pin prize money on the night. Meanwhile, another Cooter was added to the Milestone Watch and JOHN GREFFET needs just one more win. DEREK STEPHENS is still sandbagging, KYLE LONGO has the best record, and JUGGIE HINDUJA and RON SCHMITT are still having a “tuff” season.

THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE UGLY:
THE GOOD: KYLE RICKERMANN‘s gimmie for the win!
THE BAD: Pairings for Saturday @ the Lake.
THE UGLY: Team #10 & Team #14 each 11 points out of first place

Ricky’s gimmie gave him the win!

“Only skin of the night – MATT TUREK JR.!”
