Pinpoint Accuracy – Week 5 Recap

The conditions were breezy & wet on the Woodlands, making for some high scores for the Week 5 round of play. In fact, the league stroke average on the night was 47.7, 3 strokes higher than last week! Many cards were turned in with upper-50s scores and 3 in the 60s.

The conditions were good for some pinpoint accuracy too though! NICK MARKUS became the 8th golfer in Coot history to make a hole-in-one during league play with his ace on #3. The last hole-in-one was by MATT GAGNEPAIN way back in 2017, when he won $820 for the accomplishment…just $4 under Nick’s bar tab tonight!

Let’s not forget to mention that NICK also had the other closest to prize…AND…he grabbed 1 of 5 skins on the night for the “trifecta” of prize monies.

NICK KAUSCH (36) and TYLER SPAETH (36), both on the same team, had the low scratch scores of the night. There were no lo net scores worth listing on a night with some rough scoring.

The top 2 teams remain on the top: JOEY B’S in first place and K.G. ELECTRIC, INC. in second place, with just 1.5 points separating the two.
