Is it hot enough yet? Temperatures hovered above the century mark and humidity levels were easily at the century mark as well. With the heat index being well into the triple digits, the greatest accomplishment of the night is that there were no 911 calls made!
But, as we reach the 3/4-pole of the 25th season, it was important for Coot’s guys to ignore the heat and play some golf.
Bruce Thomas led the way with his one-under-par-35 (low-scratch-score of the night). He was followed by Matt Gagnepain who shot a 30.
Matt’s low-net-score also got him his 10th win of the season (the first guy to do that this year). Therefore, he continues his hold on both weekly honors of Best Record (10-1-0, .909) and Most Improved (-3).
Jim Markus and Chris Pohrer nabbed closest-to-the-pin honors while six different guys earned $30 per hole on skins (holes #1, 2, 3, 4, 7, & 8).

After his Week 15 win, Dennis Bowers was added to the Milestone Watch as he sits on 95 career victories. None of the other guys on the Watch got a victory on Week 15. Therefore, Chris Pohrer continues to be just one win away from 150.
The feature match-up of Week 16 will be between Bean & Heyl (#1) & Southside Machine (#5). With just a few weeks left of play, both teams are creeping up the ladder, just five points out of first place!
The quarterly rankings have been released as well! Visit the Rankings page to check out your latest ranking.
Week 15 was also marked by the celebration of Kevin Gardner‘s 55th birthday. Check out the pictures below, posted on Coot’s Facebook page.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KG!
