BAM! – Week 6 was cold & rainy with temperatures only in the 50s.
BAM! – HEYL FARMS got all 10 points to widen the gap in the standings over JOEY B’S – they are now fully in control of the first-half!
BAM! – HAEGELE NURSERY got 0 points to fall from sixth place to ninth place for the largest drop in the standings this week – they’re really looking for Captain JOHN DAVIS to get back in the rotation!
Closest-to-the-pin honors were earned by LARRY MOELLERING & JOE TUREK, JR.. There were too many low-net-scores to show them all this week but the low-score of the night was carded by DAVE SCHWEITZER (38). Dave also got the first eagle of the 2014 season & the only skin on the night for his efforts on #11. But…alas…he still lost his match.
There Milestone Watch was pretty active on the night, though. STEVE MINIEX earned career-victory #95 & joined the watch list. RON SUDA got his 97th victory and is just 3 wins away from glory! For those of you following along at home, though, JIM JOST JR. lost (again…#102) and still sits on 99 career victories.
JOE TUREK JR. joined another club of less-elite status during Week 6, however: he earned career loss #150. Perhaps it has something to do with having to play his ball out of a bag (see photo)?
The weekly update on the annual awards resulted in the following:
