Sure, it was overcast with a threat of rain all night for the second week of the 30th season. But, as long as golf happens, Coot is all smiles, all the time!
There were a few guys, though, that were not all smiles as the feature match of the week ended up not being much of a match at all. K.G. ELECTRIC, INC. took 9 points and left just 1 point for HEYL FARMS in the battle of the top teams in the early-season standings.
Meanwhile, JOEY B’S helped SOUTHSIDE MACHINE maintain their slow start by handing them their second-straight shutout. SOUTHSIDE MACHINE is now firmly in the cellar with a whopping zero points.
But, there’s only 19 points between first and last place so there’s till time for anyone to do some damage on the season!
A few individuals had some nice rounds on the night. JEFF POHRER earned career-victory #248 and JOHN GREFFET #145. On the less-celebrated side of the column, STEVE MINIEX got his 100th career loss.
