It was all set up for the surprise team of the year, PAUL THE PAINTER. They were in the driver’s seat going into Position Round play on The Prairies as they held the tiebreaker over JOEY B’S and HEYL FARMS. They didn’t even have to win a lot; they just had to win more than they did.
By winning 3 of 4 matches, JOEY B’S shocked PAUL THE PAINTER and took the second half title.

So the stage is set for Championship Night on Week 22 – JOEY B’S against HAEGELE NURSERY (first half champs) with the coveted Coot trophy on the line. The tiebreaker goes to HAEGELE NURSERY (Team 6) over JOEY B’S (Team 7) and goes back to Week 5 (May 9th) when HAEGELE NURSERY swept JOEY B’S – good luck to both teams!
As always, the last night of the season will be a great night for all! $10/golfer goes into the kitty (there will be 4 flights) and you get to play with whomever you want.
Back to Week 21: it was the biggest closest-to-the-pin jackpot in league history at $640 and it was split by DAVE SCHWEITZER and BRETT MINIEX. Coot’s sending out a 1099 to SmashDave that included a closest to!
